A two-part research study · 2026
What did New Jersey actually get for its AI investment?
Two surveys, one question. The first asks business leaders what their AI investment measurably changed. The second asks the people who work for them about the communities they live in. We publish the two together.

For business leaders
Five minutes. Investment, deployment, and what actually moved. You receive your own confidential benchmark against comparable New Jersey firms.
For employees
Three confidential minutes. Where you live, what is missing there, and whether your employer's involvement would matter to you. Your employer sees aggregate results only, never your individual answers.
Where the study stands today
Updated continuously as responses arrive.

Who is behind this
First Principle Global Management is a research and advisory firm working on the measurement problems that sit between capital deployment and observable outcome. This study is co-presented with a state economic development partner.
We ask two populations the same underlying question from opposite ends: what has changed, and can anyone actually see it. Individual responses are never published. Employers receive aggregate results only.
